The methodology
The diagnostic runs against a corpus of 42,639 firm-years across 2,440 tickers covering 1985–2025 — every S&P 500 and Russell 2000 listing with at least one fiscal year of SEC EDGAR coverage. The scoring methodology is versioned in lockstep with the engine container image; every diagnostic carries a methodology-version stamp and a source commit SHA so the answer is reproducible.
